Meet the face
behind the posts

 Hello, This is Kate the face behind the words. I am a mixed media and fiber artist. That means I paint on canvas and paper in all sorts of media, from paint to ink, to pastel, etc. I am also a fiber artist. I've raised my own sheep, processed their wool spun, and dyed it to make blankets and garments. I knit and weave with my yarns. I dabble in other things like embroidery and sewing and writing. I am a trained Creativity coach. My inspirations come from nature. I love birds, wolves, and other wildlife. A walk on the beach or in the forest is one of my favorite things to do. I love to travel and have really missed that the last few years. I hope that you will find some inspiration and joy with my posts.
